Issues I Can Help With
My practice provides gender-specific care to women-identifying and nonbinary people.
Maternal Depression, Anxiety, and OCD
Becoming a parent is one of the most transformative and stressful times in people’s lives. Postpartum depression affects 1 in 5 women and postpartum anxiety affects 1 in 3. Help is available, and treatment is effective at helping new parents connect with their babies and feel like themselves again. Pregnancy and new parenthood can feel overwhelming and getting support is essential to your, your baby’s, and your family’s health.
Reproductive grief can be a deeply painful and complicated experience. These experiences can bring grief, sadness, anger, anxiety, guilt, or a sense of isolation—and there is no “right” way to grieve. Your loss and your experience are valid, and you do not have to navigate them alone. Therapy can provide a safe and supportive space to process your grief, make sense of complicated emotions, and begin to heal while honoring what you have experienced.

Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Premenstrual Exacerbation (PME)
PMDD and PME can significantly impact your mood, relationships, and daily life. The emotional and physical symptoms can feel overwhelming, but they are real and treatable. Understanding how your symptoms relate to your menstrual cycle can be an important step toward feeling more in control. Therapy can help you recognize patterns, develop effective coping tools, advocate for yourself in the medical system, and feel more like yourself throughout the month.
Menopause and Perimenopause
Perimenopause and menopause can bring significant changes to your body, mood, relationships, and sense of self. Shifting hormones can contribute to anxiety, irritability, sadness, sleep difficulties, and feeling unlike yourself - both physically and mentally. These changes can be challenging, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. Therapy can provide support, help you better understand and cope with these transitions, and reconnect with a sense of balance and well-being.
Gender Transitions and Identity
Exploring your gender identity or navigating a gender transition can bring meaningful changes, questions, and challenges. You may be seeking support as you better understand yourself, share your identity with others, or navigate social, medical, or personal aspects of transition. You deserve a space where you can explore your identity without judgment and be supported in becoming more fully yourself. Therapy can provide a safe, affirming space to process emotions, navigate challenges, and build confidence in your identity and your path forward. I am also able to provide psychological assessments/evaluations for medical interventions and surgical procedures related to gender transitions.
Sexual and Reproductive Trauma
Sexual and reproductive trauma can have a lasting impact on how you feel about your body, relationships, intimacy, and sense of safety. Experiences such as sexual assault, traumatic medical care, birth trauma, or other violations can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or alone. Healing is possible, and you deserve support. Therapy can provide a safe, compassionate space to process what happened, rebuild trust in yourself and your body, and develop tools to feel more grounded and empowered.
Genito-pelvic pain can affect your physical health, emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of connection to your body. Pain with sex, pelvic floor dysfunction, endometriosis, or other symptoms can feel frustrating, isolating, and difficult to talk about—but you deserve support. Your pain is real, and help is available. Therapy can provide a safe, compassionate space to better understand your experience, develop tools for coping, and work toward greater comfort and connection with your body.

Emotion Dysregulation and Borderline Personality Disorder
Intense emotions can feel overwhelming and difficult to manage, especially when they affect relationships, self-esteem, and daily life. For people experiencing emotion dysregulation or Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), emotions may feel particularly intense or change quickly, making it hard to feel grounded or in control. These experiences are real, and change is possible. Therapy can help you better understand your emotions, build effective coping skills, strengthen relationships, and develop a greater sense of stability.
